Vandalism (M.H. NEVADA) at a high Sierra site. This modern addition to the petroglyph panel destroys the prehistoric creation and disrespects the spiritual nature in which rock art sites are still held by Native Americans. Unfortunately, such destructive acts are found at many rock art sites. Such action is illegal and can be prosecuted.
